History
Continuing in the tradition of a master tradesman,
founder John W. Todd Jr. learned his hard work ethic from
his father John Todd Sr. – a union master plaster with Plasters
Union Local #80.
The junior Todd worked skillfully alongside his father on
several projects while in high school. Upon graduation, Todd
joined the Plasters Union Local #80 as an apprentice and became
a Journeyman Plaster in 1988.
His work on veneer, ornamental, and EIFS plastering
applications with major interior trade contractors such as
Acme Arsena and G-Q Drywall quickly gained him an excellent
reputation as a solid, diligent up and coming tradesman.
After several years of dedicated service and
quality craftsmanship, Todd launched his own general contracting
and interior contracting firm, respectfully named John W.
Todd & Associates (JWT&A). The firm participated in
several projects performing carpentry and plastering services
for clients such as Discount Drug Mart, The Cleveland Museum
of Art, The Lake County Sheriff Department and Wal-Mart.
In 2005, JWT&A progressed into construction management
with The Cleveland Clinic as its first major project management
client. This joint venture project with mentors Ozanne Construction
Company and Turner Construction afforded the opportunity to
showcase JWT&A’s superior work and timely deliverables.
Today, JWT&A is poised for growth having recently added
carpentry to its array of services.
